Chef Mohd Shafik

Group Executive Chef

Chef Shafik brings over 29 years of experience crafting innovative and delectable dishes in esteemed establishments. His expertise spans a range of culinary arts, with a particular emphasis on fine dining and proficiency in French, Italian and Nusantara cuisines.

 

With a proven track record in leading kitchen teams, Chef Shafik is known for his motivational and meticulous management style. At Kay’s, he is dedicated to creating exceptional dining experiences, offering both exceptional cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere.

Haziedi Ahmad Fauzi

Head of Operations

Haziedi brings 16 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, starting as a kitchen assistant and progressing through various roles to his current position. His extensive tenure with several prominent restaurants has provided him with deep industry knowledge and expertise.


At Kay’s, Haziedi has gained valuable leadership experience, which has strengthened his ability to manage and inspire a team effectively. Known for his warmth and empathy, he is committed to building strong relationships within his team. Haziedi aims to continue his professional growth while actively supporting the development and success of his team.

Syed Muzaffar

Halal Executive 

Syed Muzaffar is responsible for ensuring that every Kay’s Steak and Lobster branch adheres to the halal standards established by JAKIM. This includes overseeing ingredients, processes, the environment and personnel. His role has been both professionally challenging and personally fulfilling, successfully achieving the goal of providing guests with a dining experience they can trust.


Inspired by the company's growth and visionary leadership, Syed Muzaffar has set and pursued ambitious goals. His tenure at Kay’s has been marked by numerous learning opportunities and valuable experiences.

Amierul Azraai Yusoff

Supervisor FOH

Azraai started his career in the food and beverage sector in 2020, specialising in culinary arts and food preparation. Through extensive experience across diverse kitchen environments, he has expanded his expertise to include front-of-house service, evolving into a well-rounded hospitality professional.


At Kay’s, Azraai is committed to providing an exceptional dining experience, leveraging his extensive product knowledge and superior customer service skills.
