“I have been working as a professional chef since 2010, and my journey started from humble beginnings. I worked as a kitchen helper and commis part-time, even while still in school. However, my passion for cooking drove me to pursue a career in the culinary world.

I vividly remember my first job in the kitchen, which was as a waiter. It was a challenging experience, but I knew that I wanted to be in the kitchen, creating and serving delicious meals. Eventually, I got a part-time job at a well-known hotel, and it was a turning point in my career.

What motivates me the most is seeing customers enjoy their meals. The feeling of contributing to the dining experience fills me with a sense of pride and satisfaction.

The company's growth and the boss's inspiring vision have motivated me to dream bigger and work harder towards achieving my own goals. The past two years at Kay's have been filled with countless opportunities to learn, grow, and develop my skills as a chef. Creating a menu for Kay's has been a dream come true for me, and I feel incredibly proud of the team I have built and the work procedures we have established together.

Kay's has been more than just a workplace for me; it has been a place where I have formed a team and established proper work procedures based on the company's SOP.

In conclusion, my journey as a professional chef has been emotional, challenging, and fulfilling. I am grateful for all the experiences that have brought me to where I am today, and I am excited to see where the future takes me.”

Meet Demi Chef Teera, the strong young lady who has already dedicated significant time at Kay's Steak & Lobster to honing her skills in cooking, plating, serving, and much more. She's a multitasking pro, quick on her feet, and never backs down from a challenge. With her tough spirit and sharp culinary skill set, Teera is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with in the kitchen day in and day out!




Working for four years now, Nash was amazed at how much he had grown. When first started as a service crew, he immediately began to see that Kay's was different.

They didn't just look at qualifications but gave everyone equal chance as long as they were willing to work hard and learn from their mistakes to prove themselves. He appreciates the notion and took full advantage of the opportunity. Diligent and committed, he is one of the best supervisor in our team. The management is always looking out for everyone and Nash felt like he was in good hands. He had never felt so valued and respected in a job before. Kay's was like a family to him. He was grateful to be a part of it.

My ultimate goal is to become the best service crew member possible and be able to handle any customer situation with ease and professionalism without having to rely on my supervisor's assistance. I am determined to improve my formal communication skills, expand my knowledge about food and service, and become even more confident when dealing with customers. There's nothing quite like the feeling of knowing that I've gone above and beyond for our customers and helped to create a positive experience for them.”
